It’s Africa’s Time

Produced by Regency Foundation and presented by Lisa Chait, It’s Africa’s Time highlights the impact of responsible business around Africa. This episode is directed by Jemima Spring and  tells the story of how the same company who was building a water regulation dam in South Angola, close to the Namibian border, returned to finish the job 40 years after the dam was bombed in the Angolan Border War. The foundation for an irrigation plan that will unlock the agricultural potential, we hear from local farmers how access to water has given them the ability to the feed the region and how, without it, people starve. At the same time, they share the impact of war, in an environment that still bears its scars.
